On May 1, 2024, Hanayuu was reborn.
We have taken over the spacious Yamakawa Onsen in Aso, with its exceptional free flowing hot spring, and aim to provide a new level of hospitality.
Enjoy privacy to your heart's content.

●Baths
There are two private open-air baths in Hanayuu.
The source temperature is 50 degrees Celsius, and the temperature is controlled by the amount of hot spring water, so not water at all is added.
In addition, there are two private open-air baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath.
Relax in a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

【Indoor bath】
This bath is made of cut stone; you can go to and from this bath and the open-air bath.

【Spring water characteristics/ailments】
Spring water characteristics: Calcium - sodium - sulfate (hyptonic, neutral, high temperature)
Source temperature: 50 degrees Celsius
Ailments: Cuts, burns, chronic skin diseases and arteriosclerosis

【Information on use】
Available until morning, you can bathe anytime you like.

● Dinner
For dinner, please choose from the following:

【Shabu-shabu】
We use the finest, carefully selected, black Wagyu beef, "Wao", from Kumamoto Prefecture.
Kumamoto black Wagyu beef "Wao" is carefully bred in a natural environment blessed with pure water and clear air, and takes advantage of the Kumamoto topography.
When you put this carefully prepared meat in your mouth, you will delight in the soft texture and mellow aroma.
Our vegetable are sourced from local producers as well as from the wider Kyushu area.
Enjoy shabu-shabu with our 2 special sauces: sesame sauce and ponzu

【Sukiyaki】
The finest Wagyu beef, with our chef's secret sauce, makes for exquisite sukiyaki. Enjoy the original sweetness and tenderness of the meat.
The concentrated flavor of the fatty, marble Wagyu beef and vegetables will be savored to the end with the finishing dish of udon noodles.
